In 2025 ReelOzInd! celebrates our 10th festival! Our theme is imajinasi.

For a decade, this popular and unique bi-national short film festival has been bringing Australian and Indonesian audiences together to celebrate and enjoy the work of talented and emerging filmmakers from both countries.

Short films (max 10 minutes) are in the running to win $15,000 in prizes across categories including Best Short Film, Best Fiction, Best Documentary and Best Young Filmmaker.

Submissions are Open via FilmFreeway from 28 April-1 August 2025.

Films are judged by a Jury of Indonesian and Australian filmmakers, experts and critics.

The festival launches on 23 October. Our pop-up festival will run through until 21 December 2025.
